Sustainable Compassion

This workshop is for anyone whose work involves caring for others. Perhaps you’re a full-time carer, a support worker or a teacher.

There are many roles which expect you to put other’s needs at the top of the to-do list, not all of them come with a wage.

Do you sometimes feel resentful of their dependence on you? Does that then feel bad, so you beat yourself up?

Are you so busy that you miss breaks, work late, or say no to things you’d like to do so they get what they need?

Are there days when secretly you’d like to shout and rant? Or you do — and then feel awful that you lost your temper?

After years of working in and around the caring professions, I started to notice a pattern: people loved their jobs, it meant something to them, they genuinely cared — and yet sustaining their kind and compassionate approach was getting harder.

As someone who works in the caring professions, I know how tough it can be to keep caring for others on repeat, it is so easy to lose yourself in their care. This is a chance to put yourself up there on equal footing.

You matter too.

I am excited to get into it, for you to find ways to keep doing the brilliant work that you do.

Book your place below.
